Visions
of the Past – The All-Weather Roll ‘N’ Ice, Sunrise Highway,
Copiague, circa 1959. This unique entertainment venue offered ice skating on
the first floor and roller skating on the second floor, year-round. Although it
has not hosted skating for a few decades, the building still exists. It is
presently South Shore Kia, across the street from the Target and Home Depot
shopping center.
